GENERAL FAQ
Q.
Can I do a consultation by phone instead of coming to your Green Bay office?
Although we prefer to counsel with someone face to face, we realize that distance and work schedules can sometimes cause difficulties for that arrangement.  We can arrange to do a consultation by phone. We will send you information, in advance, to complete and return to us. We will then place that information into our computer, so that when we are having our phone consultation, we are able to immediately address issues that are relevant to your situation.  The cost of the consultation is the same, and you will be asked to send in your consultation fee with the information package that you return to us.

Q. Must my spouse attend the consultation?
We highly recommend that both spouses be in attendance.  We will be gathering spending information, and in most cases one spouse will be more familiar with the correct amounts than the other.  In addition, both spouses should hear the recommendations that we may make regarding your finances.  If it is impossible for both spouses to attend, we will still see you; however, we may require that, after reviewing the data from your consultation with your spouse, you need to provide us with additional information.

Q. What do I bring to a consultation?
See our information on your initial consultation.

Q. Is my information confidential?
Yes, we take great care to protect your confidentiality. You name is not used on any mailing lists. We will not contact you after the consultation, unless you have granted us permission to do so.  Great care is taken to protect our computer and paper files.  If and when it becomes necessary to dispose of any paper documents that contain your personal information, the documents will be professionally shredded.  We will not share your personal information with someone else without your written consent.

Q. My creditors are harassing me.  Can you help?
We can look at the use of a Chapter 128.21 for your situation. This action provides protection for you from your creditors.  Although this action is not right for everyone, we can review its possibilities with you.  You may also want to review our information on the Fair Debt Collection Act.
